Overview In this role you will lead and manage transportation-related litigation for a large international logistics client, collaborating with cross-office teams to address complex regulatory and legal challenges. You will drive case strategy, provide sound counsel, and help shape defense approaches on emerging issues in the transportation sector. You will work in a collegial environment with experienced colleagues nationwide and have visibility across the firm's transportation practice.

Responsibilities- Proactively manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution
- Conduct legal research on transportation laws, regulations, and standards
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and related documents
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices
- Draft case analysis reports for clients to inform proactive resolution strategies
Key requirements- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in New York
- 8+ years of general casualty litigation experience
- First and/or second chair trial experience strongly desired
- Deposition and motion practice experience
- Experience in transportation and logistics, trucking, and related regulatory matters preferred
- Superior analytical and strong written and oral communication skills
