Overview In this role you will lead the enterprise-wide Building Automation System (BAS) program, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operations across locations. You work with cross-functional teams to standardize systems, drive high reliability, and support new builds, renovations, and international expansion. You will shape technical standards, oversee QA and inspections, and manage the program budget to deliver efficient facilities performance. Responsibilities- Lead multidisciplinary technical staff and develop training
- Create and enforce standards, procedures, and QA programs for new facilities and renovations
- Coordinate with cross-functional committees to ensure consistency across markets
- Develop enterprise BAS/FLS technical roadmap (controls, HVAC, energy, life safety)
- Advise Design on compliance and regulatory requirements for standards
- Participate in design reviews for new builds/renovations
- Oversee inspections, testing, maintenance to meet codes and standards (NFPA, CMS, JC)
- Perform QA of system performance and preventive maintenance documentation
- Coordinate infrastructure recapitalization with site leadership and forecast budgets
- Manage program budget; develop requirements and evaluate vendors/suppliers
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or eight years in facilities management
- Four years as a qualified tradesperson or technician in electrical, plumbing, or related area
- Two years of supervisory or managerial experience or formal education in business management
- Niagara certification on hire or within one year
- Deep knowledge of NFPA, CMS, JC, and state/local regulations
