Overview

In this HRIS Analyst role, you configure and maintain Workday Core HCM and Security to enable efficient HR processes. You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable HR technology solutions and ensure data integrity. You'll lead design, testing, and release activities while driving continuous improvement across HR systems. This onsite position in Santa Clara offers a chance to shape HR technology that supports business objectives and compliance. Responsibilities
  • Serve as Workday Core HCM and Security SME, leading design, configuration, and testing of Core HCM processes and security.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver scalable, technology-driven outcomes.
  • Probe beyond stated requests to understand true business objectives and propose future-ready solutions.
  • Ensure HR processes are well-documented, configured, and consistently executed across HR systems via collaboration with HR/HRIT.
  • Manage intake, scoping, and sizing of enhancements to Workday Core HCM and Security using JIRA; ensure successful change execution.
  • Evaluate out-of-the-box functionality against business needs to identify optimal solutions.
  • Analyze and test new Workday features; own unit, regression, pre-launch testing and sign-off.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, technology, and data quality; provide consultative guidance and influence solution design.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, security, and data governance standards.
Key requirements
  • 7+ years as a Workday functional expert in Core HCM and Security
  • Bachelor's degree required (preferred in MIS/IT/CS/Engineering)
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation (preferred)
  • Strong communication, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams
  • Fast learner, able to meet tight deadlines and take ownership
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-demand environment and navigate ambiguity
