Overview In this role, you will lead and deliver large, complex data center projects on-site in Texas, guiding goals, strategy, and execution. You'll coordinate cross-functional activities, manage client relationships, and drive financial reporting and controls. You will steward company policies, facilitate timely decisions, and ensure projects meet schedule and budget targets. Responsibilities- Oversee project activities, functions, and required resources
- Define assignments for project team members
- Serve as primary client contact during implementation
- Own project financials, reporting to stakeholders
- Uphold company policies and procedures
- Coordinate with other departments for decision-making
- Manage subcontractor payments and change orders
- Prepare pre-construction budgets and estimates
- Conduct monthly project accounting reviews (ETC)
- Ensure on-time project completion and maintain change issue logs
- Select, coach, and manage project staff
- Build relationships with field personnel and foremen
- Review projects with trade foremen as design develops
- Manage a portion of annual sales per department needs
- Provide client support on financial, contractual, and technical issues
- Engage with owner and business leaders across client base
- Accept project ownership as assigned by Business Unit Manager
Key requirements- Bachelor in Construction Management
- 10-15 years of construction project management experience
- 5+ years of data center project management experience
- Deep expertise in mechanical and/or electrical engineering (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
- Proficiency with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and/or Suretrak
- RCDD or CPM designation (preferred)
- SharePoint knowledge (preferred)
- Knowledge of applicable codes
- Knowledge of equipment selection and layout with proper clearances
- Construction financial software knowledge
- Basic estimating skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of low voltage systems (HVAC controls, fire alarm, security) (preferred)
