Overview In this developmental Market Leader role, you scale from district oversight to supervising multiple districts while managing a small store count. You drive the company's KPI targets by delivering an outstanding store experience through the District and Store Leaders you supervise. You will lead with core values, develop talent, and shape regional strategy to improve revenue and operations across your region.
Responsibilities- Model and uphold the company's core values and build partnerships across the organization
- Lead and influence peers regionally and with Home Office; conduct productive meetings and executive-level presentations
- Pursue personal development and growth opportunities
- Recruit, hire, and develop top management talent; set performance standards and ensure high execution
- Develop succession plans and oversee internal promotions to support brand growth
- Train District Team Leaders (Store Team Leaders where DTLs are not assigned) and create individual development plans
- Address performance issues with HR and implement corrective actions
- Ensure visual directives are executed on time and stores are properly merchandised and assortments managed
- Monitor trends, shop competition, and capitalize on revenue opportunities
- Establish and execute regional business strategies to drive KPI results and sales plans
- Lead annual budget process for sales, KPIs, and controllable expenses
- Plan market visits to review KPI performance, HC, VM, operations, and key initiatives
- Hold District Team Leaders accountable for operational responsibilities and compliance
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of District Manager experience; 6+ years in retail management
- Travel 50%+, relocation ability
- Strong MS Office, Outlook, and Internet proficiency
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication; collaborative and influential with peers and senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
