Overview

In this role, you lead mechanical construction projects-from new builds to upgrades-ensuring successful delivery from planning through completion. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, field personnel, and leadership to drive quality, safety, and efficiency across multiple sites. You shape schedules, coordinate resources, and mentor site teams to meet aggressive timelines and budgets. Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project schedules and work sequences
  • Coordinate field execution and resource planning to meet timelines
  • Oversee safety programs and reduce on-site hazards
  • Mentor and develop direct reports, fostering continuous improvement
  • Validate work progress against specifications and BIM/coordination drawings
  • Monitor budgets, man-hours, and change orders; support forecasts
  • Facilitate issue resolution and coordination among subcontractors and trades
  • Identify prefabrication opportunities and optimize logistics
  • Conduct pre-job planning and ensure understanding of contract terms
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Building Science, Construction Management, or related field is preferred
  • Must hold licenses/certifications relevant to the trade
  • Construction Superintendent certification is preferred
  • 7+ years of construction experience
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means/methods, and QA/QC standards
  • Ability to read blueprints, BIM drawings, submittals, and specifications
