Responsibilities- Ensure technical quality, efficiency, and accuracy of work in the assigned microbiology section
- Oversee specimen processing and molecular testing across multiple platforms
- Lead, guide, and motivate team members; provide leadership presence
- Collaborate with cross-campus teams to align testing strategies and quality standards
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Support leadership in shaping microbiology and infectious disease testing programs
Key requirements- Bachelor in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science
- Registered Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist through ASCP or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Microbiology, Molecular, or clinical laboratory
- Proficient with LIS, EPIC, and MS Office
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Demonstrated leadership qualities; leadership experience preferred
