Overview

In this role you oversee planning, coordination, and execution of PMCM projects to meet owner needs, cost, and schedule from inception to closeout. You work closely with owners, partners, and design/construction teams to ensure contracts, drawings, and specs align with project goals. You'll manage data, documentation, and approvals, lead project meetings, and supervise staff as needed. The position offers exposure to diverse sectors and a pathway to shape impactful projects within Vanir's renowned PMCM practice.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary liaison for owner and partner entities on contracts, design, systems, and deliverables
  • Develop project-specific procedures and consult on design/construction contracts and A/E systems
  • Ensure compliance with construction requirements through knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specs
  • Manage data, communications, and approvals among owner, architects, engineers, and related parties
  • Represent owner and project stakeholders in public forums and meetings
  • Oversee project controls, cost, performance, logistics, and closeout activities
  • Lead project meetings with documentation and status tracking
  • Coordinate/monitor activities of construction management staff, contractors, and related entities
  • Manage bid phase services as required by the client
  • Perform other duties as required
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager (Education Sector strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of project development, design-phase management, estimating, cost, scheduling, and contracts
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and project-related systems
  • Experience with document control systems and K-12 modernization projects preferred
  • Architect or Professional Engineer registration preferred
  • Certified Construction Manager preferred
