Overview As a Preconstruction Senior Manager in Jacobs' Advanced Manufacturing group, you bridge design and construction to ensure timely, on-budget delivery across multiple EPCM projects. You lead a team of Construction Package Development Specialists, aligning design, procurement, scheduling, and construction to predefine packages. You drive constructability reviews and risk mitigation, while coordinating with clients and stakeholders for a smooth handoff to construction. This role offers a chance to shape preconstruction processes and influence project outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities- Lead a team of Construction Package Development Specialists across an EPCM program with cross-functional collaboration (design, procurement, scheduling, construction)
- Contribute to design constructability and sequencing planning to optimize execution
- Foster collaboration among stakeholders and manage client interface to meet expectations
- Develop standardized construction packages across disciplines with procurement and project controls
- Strategize subcontracting and procurement aligned with construction management
- Guide planning efforts and execution with design, procurement and construction teams for timely information flow
- Participate in constructability reviews to allocate resources for construction and trades
- Coordinate with safety, quality, project services and technical teams to strengthen preconstruction planning
- Review risk registers and mitigation plans to reduce project exposure
- Build cooperative relationships among client, contractor and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly
Key requirements- 15+ years in managing construction projects for industrial and/or commercial facilities
- Field construction experience on active projects
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Experience optimizing construction scheduling and sequencing
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in a hybrid environment across time zones
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering/Construction management/Architecture or related field
