Responsibilities- Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation to deliver quality parts at optimal material cost within program timing
- Develop supplier strategies and align with Category Manager to source programs on time with cost and quality targets
- Present sourcing rationale to executive leadership and manage supplier relationships
- Lead cost-focused negotiations and establish long-term supplier engagement
- Support Quality initiatives by holding suppliers accountable and achieving targeted Q1 quality sites
- Develop material cost roadmaps and collaborate with Finance and Product Development
- Lead supplier Quarterly Business Reviews and Supplier Quality/Cost/Delivery meetings
- Provide cross-functional supply continuity support and explore alternative technologies or sources when needed
- Attend workshops and drive process improvements with stakeholders
- Travel as required to supplier sites
Key requirements- 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in Automotive
- Experience with Stampings and Structural Assemblies
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or Engineering
- Strong negotiation, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic procurement software
- Strong analytical skills and cost analytics capability
- Ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and suppliers
- Understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, and systems
- Strategic mindset with knowledge of automotive industry challenges
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
