Responsibilities- Lead the design of multi-phase MuleSoft integration projects with API-led connectivity
- Identify IT operating model improvements and support the SDLC pipeline to maximize MuleSoft value
- Define and scale enterprise integration best practices, architectures, and API patterns
- Establish DevOps models, CI/CD, and full API lifecycle management
- Scale best practices globally via reusable assets and reference architectures
- Enable field teams and partners to improve delivery and customer success
- Lead requirements workshops and produce architectural blueprints to steer projects
- Influence product direction by surfacing gaps and insights to leadership
- Act as trusted technical advisor to clients and internal teams; mentor junior architects and engineers
- Coordinate with MuleSoft Product Management and Engineering to relay field feedback and shape roadmap
Key requirements- Active Secret level security clearance
- 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years leading complex integration and solution architecture initiatives
- 2+ years hands-on MuleSoft experience or equivalent, with proficiency in API-led connectivity and integration patterns
- Expertise in High Availability, Scalability, SDLC, and full API lifecycle management
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions meeting complex business requirements; ability to justify integration approaches to C-level executives
- Experience defining full API lifecycle management from design to governance
- Strong customer-facing communication and expectation management skills
- Experience managing multiple SDLC-end projects simultaneously
- Experience architecting services integrations with MuleSoft and other platforms (IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic, API Management solutions)
