Overview In this role you will lead a major generation project with budgets typically between $1B and $10B, serving as the single accountable leader for safety, schedule, cost, and overall project delivery. You will oversee cross-functional teams and may supervise EPC contractors or third-party resources to ensure compliant, on-time project execution. You will build relationships with stakeholders and communicate with internal/external customers to achieve project goals and customer satisfaction. The position requires on-site presence during project execution and a strong focus on Zero Harm and regulatory readiness with a strategic, delivery-driven mindset.

Responsibilities- Oversee and direct overall project execution across multiple workstreams
- Implement and manage the safety program to achieve Zero Harm
- Report on project strategy, scope, procurement, engineering, construction, and budget to Generation Executive leadership
- Establish and negotiate commercial contracting strategies and EPC/engineering agreements
- Drive integrated schedules and resource alignment; monitor program budget and contingencies
- Identify and manage executive risk and develop mitigation strategies
- Lead project change management and resolve disputes to avoid escalation
- Build and mentor a cohesive project leadership team
- Manage stakeholder relationships including utilities, regulators, landowners, and contractors
- Ensure regulatory readiness and filings leading to approvals such as Certificates of Convenience and Necessity
- Oversee staffing, vendor management, and contractor performance
- Deliver project safely, on schedule, and within approved investment; understand technical solutions relevant to project work
- Prepare and present clear reports and executive briefings on project status and needs
- Support governance and documentation needs, including joint venture or service agreements where applicable
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 10 years of qualified experience across major construction, project management, portfolio management, commissioning, project controls, or related areas
- PMP certification
- Valid state driver's license
- Experience with two or more listed areas and progressive responsibility
