Overview In this role you drive formulation development for new chemical entities from early-stage formulations to market-ready products. You work within the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical Supply organization to design and optimize processes that enable GMP manufacturing. You collaborate across functions to translate scientific advances into scalable drug products, addressing formulation and manufacturing challenges with innovative approaches. Responsibilities- Propose and design innovative formulation development strategies, execute experiments, and interpret results
- Evaluate new technologies and deploy them to pipeline assets
- Collaborate across functions and bring advanced scientific expertise to projects
- Execute DOE-driven formulation and process development for new chemical entities and lifecycle opportunities
- Coordinate development activities with process chemistry, preformulation, analytical, and physical characterization groups
- Outsource/coordinate formulation development or clinical manufacturing at CDOs/CMOs
- Support manufacturing, packaging, and release of clinical supplies; assist scale-up at pilot and commercial scales; summarize results in reports and presentations
- Contribute to the scientific reputation through patents, presentations, and publications; drive technology development and process innovations
- Keep abreast of new technologies and share knowledge with the team
