Overview In this role you drive end-to-end basing logistics planning and execution, coordinating schedules and recovery actions to meet service and cost targets. You'll serve as an ocean network subject matter expert, leading analyses and improvement initiatives that boost cost efficiency, service reliability, and network performance. You will partner with cross-functional teams across the supply chain to ensure smooth product flow and operational excellence, delivering insights to inform S&OP/S&OE processes and leadership reviews. This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on forecast accuracy, inventory health, and working capital in a complex global network.

Responsibilities- Coordinate basing logistics plans and operating schedules across replenishment, warehouse, and fulfillment to meet service, cost, and inventory targets
- Monitor execution versus plan, identify constraints, and drive same-day/week recovery actions with owners
- Prepare agendas and action logs for operating reviews, ensuring alignment on shipment execution and recovery actions
- Lead issue triage, quantify impact, and route actions across multiple teams through to closure
- Build routine performance reporting (service, fill rate, on-time delivery, inventory health, costs, transit time, velocity, working capital) using ERP/WMS/TMS outputs
- Validate data accuracy, investigate anomalies, and coordinate with process owners and vendors to fix root causes
- Compile KPI packs and scorecards for S&OP/S&OE and logistics forums with clear commentary
- Maintain and update operations playbooks, SOPs, and escalation paths, and support deployment of new routines
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Logistics, Customer Management, Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse Ops, Procurement, Finance, IT, and 3PLs
- Lead ocean network planning and execution aligned with basing plans and customer service expectations
- Own ocean network performance management, analyzing cost, transit time, dwell time, service, and working capital drivers
- Manage ocean network exceptions (delays, congestion, holds, shortages) and coordinate recovery actions
- Drive continuous improvement using data to enhance service, inventory flow, and total transport cost
- Develop executive-ready materials translating network performance into actionable decisions
- Engage with ocean network partners on performance reviews and capacity planning
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning by identifying cost trends and savings opportunities
- Lead cross-functional projects on ocean network optimization, cost reduction, and process standardization
- Support ocean network risk management and contingency planning
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive closure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in data analysis and interpreting ERP/WMS/TMS outputs for KPI reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate data into actionable narratives
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
