Senior Superintendent

In this Senior Superintendent role, you will lead field operations on large commercial healthcare projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in occupied facilities. You will coordinate trade partners, manage complex phasing and OSHPD/HCAI compliance, and collaborate with owners, design teams, and regulators to execute high-profile builds. The position offers impact through shaping safe, efficient construction for critical facilities, guided by Lean/Last Planner practices. • Lead field operations for large healthcare projects, including new construction, renovations, and work in occupied facilities
• Develop and enforce jobsite safety plans and OSHPD/HCAI compliance
• Plan complex phasing, site logistics, and patient access while maintaining hospital operations
• Create and manage master, look-ahead, and short-interval schedules; apply Lean/Last Planner
• Oversee subcontractors and coordinate cross-trade work; maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Manage QA/QC activities, punch lists, and owner acceptance
• Review contracts, submittals, and field conditions; support cost, permitting, and mobilization; mentor field staff

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience including field leadership as Superintendent or Senior Superintendent
• Proven experience leading large commercial healthcare projects (acute-care hospitals, occupied environments)
• Knowledge of OSHPD/HCAI regulatory construction, inspections, safety, and documentation
• Comprehensive knowledge of building systems (civil, structural, architectural, MEP, life-safety)
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6; OSHA 30-hour and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred or required by policy
