Corporate Vice President, Advanced Planning Consultant- Pacific Zone

Overview

In this fully remote senior role, you support agents across the Pacific Zone with expert case consultations and strategic planning in advanced areas like estate, business, charitable, and retirement planning. You help agents design customized, sale-driven solutions that align with clients' goals while strengthening the firm's growth in life insurance. You work closely with field leadership and cross functional teams to educate, market, and promote advanced planning initiatives. Your expertise translates complex concepts into client-friendly guidance that drives sales and client security.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one case consultations with agents and leadership to design advanced planning strategies
  • Provide responsive support via in-person, Zoom, and phone meetings to agents, SDMs, Product Consultants, and field management
  • Serve as a technical expert on tax, legal, and financial aspects of advanced planning to connect to product solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and promote advanced markets initiatives that drive life insurance sales
  • Create clear marketing, training, and educational materials for agents and their professional advisors
  • Represent the Advanced Planning Group as a trusted resource and ensure high-quality field support in the territory
Key requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) strongly preferred, with a foundation in estate and tax law preferred
  • Life insurance/industry sales support experience a plus
  • Deep expertise in advanced planning topics (estate, business succession, charitable giving, retirement income strategies)
  • Ability to present complex legal/financial concepts in a client-friendly manner that drives sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and a consultative approach
  • Demonstrated relationship management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% within the Pacific Zone
  • FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person fingerprinting pre-hire required
