In this Architect role you will lead design development and construction document production for complex projects, guiding a project team and coordinating multiple disciplines. You will mentor staff, manage design parameters, and ensure quality and schedules align with client goals. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead moderate to large, complex projects
  • Set design parameters (code, site, budget, schedule) and assist in presenting design documents
  • Develop project work plans and oversee task execution
  • Own daily activities, progress, and quality of Construction Documents
  • Mentor less experienced staff throughout the project
  • Produce schematic design, design development, and construction documents to standard
  • Support Project Manager on schedule and budget adherence; assess scope changes
  • Forecast resources and staffing needs; advise on staffing requirements
  • Coordinate all disciplines and manage information exchange among team members
  • Ensure QA procedures and in-house standards are followed; prepare addenda/bulletins
  • Perform in-house construction administration (RFI responses, shop drawings, field representation) as needed
  • Maintain and improve office standards, details, and production tools
  • Familiar with Revit; project setup/workset management; laser scanning/point clouds
  • Be open to feedback and mentorship for professional growth
  • Perform related duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • 10+ years related architecture experience
  • NCARB AXP completion required
  • Licensing exams in progress preferred
  • LEED Certification preferred
  • WELL Building Certification preferred
