Overview

In this role you lead end-to-end Government Property and Asset Management, from acquisition to disposition, overseeing material and property warehouses and a diverse team handling government and customer-owned assets. You'll support audits and ensure compliance with government property standards and FAR-based requirements. You will apply your knowledge to sustain compliant property management programs and partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficient asset handling. This role offers impact across operations, audits, and process improvements in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead administrative and operational activities for a government services project within program guidelines
  • Oversee a large department or business unit segment including budgeting, planning, and P&L responsibilities
  • Manage Material Stockrooms, Supply Stockrooms, Tool Cribs and teams handling government/customer/commercial materials
  • Apply expertise within Aerospace Administrative, Engineering, and Integrated Supply Chain domains
  • Leverage established relationships within government and customer asset management communities
  • Maintain government-approved systems compliant with government, customer, and contractual requirements
  • Support or manage self-assessments of FAR 10 Government Property Management Outcomes (FAR 45, 52.245-1)
  • Adhere to Honeywell Aerospace Property Management Plan
  • Ensure site Government Property Standards with monthly assessments and financial reporting
  • Provide coaching and leadership across staff and cross-functional groups
  • Plan operational activities for the site and conduct property coordination meetings/training
  • Establish objectives, schedules and resources, and manage risk and corrective actions
  • Develop and report metrics using visual management to improve processes
  • Act with delegated authority across functions and site-wide
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of directly related experience
  • Or a High School Diploma/equivalent with 12 years of related experience
  • Experience with SAP and/or other ERP and Asset Management Systems
  • Proficient in MS Excel reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication with customers and diverse organizational levels
