Overview In this role you support the Construction Project Manager and EPC teams to drive safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of EPC construction projects, primarily in water and wastewater sectors. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage safety, quality, schedule, contracts, procurement, and field execution, shaping project plans and risk reviews. You will interface with clients and vendors, coordinate documents, and help close out projects with proper turnover. This is a hands-on, multi-project role that contributes to project success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Support safety, quality, schedule, and cost control across EPC projects
- Assist in developing and implementing Project Execution, Quality Assurance, and Safety plans
- Prepare and manage RFPs, subcontracts, change orders, and procurement documents
- Coordinate site mobilization/demobilization and permitting activities
- Support bid processes, supplier pre-qualification, and contract administration
- Track progress, cost reporting, and cash flows; generate status reports for stakeholders
- Ensure document control, filing systems, and compliance with insurance, licensures, and taxes
- Assist with project turnover, closeout, and warranty processes
- Support labor planning, craft training, and workforce staffing on projects
- Collaborate with Superintendents/Site Managers to verify subcontractor compliance and schedule
- Facilitate audits, progress reviews, and field-based progress tracking
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with safety policies and company standards
Key requirements- Bachelor degree or equivalent in related field with 3 years of construction experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to handle large workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Experience on construction sites or program management across listed industries (aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, transportation, water) preferred
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to meet driving requirements
