Overview In this role you will support execution of plant biotech innovation projects as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will help evaluate projects, assist in experimental design, and contribute to data analysis to inform go/no-go pipeline decisions. Your work will be documented and communicated in team meetings, driving progress in the innovation pipeline. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape early-stage research within Bayer's Crop Science division.

Responsibilities- Partner with the innovation pipeline team to evaluate projects in molecular and protein biology, entomology, and plant transformation
- Collaborate with project manager, scientists, and stakeholders on experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of results
- Execute lab-based experiments that inform go/no-go decisions on pipeline implementation
- Ensure flow of information and updates through regular communication and scientific presentations at team and project meetings
- Maintain meticulous, up-to-date research records to ensure compliance
Key requirements- Enrolled in a PhD or master's program in molecular biology, cell biology, plant physiology, protein biochemistry, entomology, or related field
- Experience applying molecular and cell biology techniques including cloning and transformation
- Experience with microscopy, microbiology, entomology, or macromolecular assays
- Organized and proactive, with the ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills including regular data presentation
- Enthusiasm for hands-on bench work
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Preferred experience using R, Python, Spotfire, or Power BI for statistical analysis and data visualization
