Overview As Manager, Strategic Sourcing, you partner with Marketing and Sales to shape category strategies and execute sourcing initiatives that drive cost savings and risk mitigation. You will lead end-to-end Source-to-Contract activities across Marketing sub-categories, aligning procurement with business priorities and stakeholder needs. You'll build analytical models (TCO, should-cost) and use spend data to inform strategic decisions. Responsibilities- Develop and implement category strategies for Marketing sub-categories (Data Insights & Analytics, Promotional Items, Print, Media, Creative Agencies, Meetings & Events) and translate objectives into measurable targets.
- Lead Source-to-Contract processes, including supplier selection, RFPs, and contract negotiations, with a focus on outcomes that support business goals.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure alignment of category strategies with business priorities and procurement strategy.
- Analyze spend, demand forecasts, and market dynamics; build total cost of ownership and should-cost models to guide decisions.
- Monitor compliance, risk and process controls across procurement activities; support risk assessments and policy adherence.
- Manage projects with defined scopes, timelines, budgets, and resources; drive adoption of procurement tools and best practices.
- Foster strong supplier relationships and performance improvement through negotiation, innovation, and collaboration.
- Lead demand management and optimize pathways to meet business objectives while controlling costs.
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience; 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence senior leadership.
- Experience in category strategy development, supplier management, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
- Analytical capability to extract and analyze data for spend, demand, and benchmarks; proficient in cost modeling (TCO, should-cost).
