Overview In this role you support project managers to coordinate design-build construction efforts from conception to closeout. You will help ensure schedules, documents, and quality standards meet expectations while enhancing client satisfaction. You'll work with cross-functional teams to manage scopes, budgets, and field operations, driving on-time delivery and safe, compliant execution. This is an opportunity to shape project outcomes within a national engineering and energy services firm and contribute to program effectiveness. You will engage with clients, contractors, and team members to solve issues and improve processes.
Responsibilities- Support project coordination from conception through closeout, including scheduling, scope reviews, site walkthroughs, and final invoicing-related activities
- Resolve issues with clients, contractors, or consultants to keep projects on track
- Understand project scope and contract documents; manage prime and subcontractor interfaces
- Manage client relationships and facilitate project tools, processes, and procedures
- Track progress against budgets, targets, and forecasts; identify improvement opportunities
- Oversee RFI and submittal processes and assist in schedule and budget updates
- Coordinate construction activities on site and assist field operations in daily reports
- Ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and attainment of quality standards
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and stakeholder communication throughout the build
- Assist in issue resolution and ensure health and safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the project team
- Support continuous program evaluation and process improvements
Key requirements- 3+ years of relevant construction experience (general construction, mechanical, or electrical)
- Bachelor's degree; technical coursework preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, DER, and lighting technologies
- Proven project management skills; ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Familiarity with database systems
- Ability to travel; valid driver's license required
