Overview

In this role you will drive project development and reporting for gas development projects at the Dallas hub, spanning early design through construction readiness and execution. You will work at the interface of Engineering, Construction, and Integrated Supply Chain to ensure timely, cost-conscious progress and risk-aware decision-making. You'll own owner-level reporting and develop dashboards to inform leadership. This is a high-impact, hands-on role in a fast-paced, origination-driven environment with a clear focus on governance and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities
  • Support E&C participation in technology review and preliminary engineering phases for active hub gas development projects
  • Coordinate E&C inputs for site configuration reviews, constructability assessments, and balance-of-plant scopes (gas interconnection and switchyard)
  • Track development milestones and flag construction dependencies early
  • Maintain schedules, cost benchmarks, and cashflow models for sanction decisions
  • Own and maintain E&C risk register across active work streams
  • Identify scope changes that impact cost or schedule risk and escalate
  • Produce risk-adjusted cost positioning and contingency analyses for leadership
  • Manage monthly/quarterly progress reporting for Owner with schedule, cost, risk, and milestones
  • Develop one-page dashboards and executive status packages covering scope, budget, equipment, interconnection, permitting, and decisions needed
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain on RFQ inputs, scope reviews, and bid evaluations for major equipment
  • Track long-lead equipment status and flag supply chain constraints in constrained OEM markets
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in energy project development or large capital construction
  • Experience in project controls and schedule development for gas generation or major capital projects
  • Proven ability to manage Owner-level reporting (monthly/quarterly) with schedule, cost, and risk content
  • Familiarity with EPC/EPCM project delivery models and contractor bid evaluation
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams
