Overview

In this role you drive end-to-end recruiting for SpaceX's mission-critical roles, collaborating with client teams while maintaining autonomy in a fast-paced environment. You will attract top aerospace talent, screen and surface candidates, guide offers, and ensure a strong candidate experience on site. Your work directly supports building the teams that enable space exploration at scale. You will partner with hiring managers and act as a talent expert to shape hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with client groups to discuss headcount, staffing strategy, and interview feedback
  • Screen applicants and source candidates, including passive talent
  • Present top candidates to client groups and coordinate interviews
  • Provide candidate tours and manage the candidate experience onsite
  • Attend interviews to support evaluation with hiring teams
  • Lead the offer process: background checks, offers, and onboarding coordination
  • Maintain and grow a diverse candidate pipeline in a fast-changing environment
  • Navigate high-volume recruiting while aligning with SpaceX priorities
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with 5+ years as a recruiter; 2+ additional years with an associate degree; or 7+ years of recruiting experience in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of technical recruiting experience
  • 2+ years of corporate (G&A) recruiting experience
  • Experience with in-house recruiting and high-volume recruiting
  • Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineers and skilled labor
  • Full life cycle recruiting experience from sourcing to closing
  • Strong data interpretation and ability to distinguish top talent
  • Comfort with non-standard recruiting methods (cold outreach, events, targeted sourcing)
  • Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Ability to present candidates accurately without overselling and influence client decisions
  • Multi-tasking with minimal direction while contributing as a team member
