Overview

In this MSL role, you advance Amgen's inflammation-focused scientific platform by engaging with healthcare professionals across pulmonology, allergy, ENT, and gastroenterology to explain clinical data and real-world impact. You'll travel 60-70% of the time to support territory goals, congress activities, and investigator engagement, driving evidence-based conversations aligned with company strategy. You'll partner across Amgen functions to enhance access and patient outcomes in a high-impact, scientifically rigorous environment.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with Opinion Leaders, community providers, and PHDMs to discuss scientific data and contribute to indication-expansion goals
  • Travel extensively (60-70%) for territory management, conferences, and meetings
  • Interact with clinical investigators and sites to support the therapeutic area pipeline
  • Communicate clinical value and economic data to health systems within the territory
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to amplify reach for patients
  • Lead and participate in congress activities and sponsor events as aligned with strategy
  • Support speaker training and ensure data updates for speakers
  • Contribute to MSL strategy execution and cross-functional project teams
  • Maintain compliance with MSL standards and required training (CRM, expenses, compliance)
  • Maintain and enhance scientific acumen and track healthcare trends
Key requirements
  • Doctorate OR Master's with 3 years Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor with 5 years Medical Affairs experience
  • Experience in Medical Affairs within biotech/pharma
  • Respiratory, gastroenterology, or inflammation expertise
  • Experience with designated territory
