Memory PHY Firmware Architect

In this role you will lead the design and implementation of firmware for AMD SoCs, collaborating with firmware engineers, developers, and other architects across memory IPs to cover pre-silicon and post-silicon work. You drive high-quality firmware delivery and provide technical guidance to peers and customers. You will tackle complex firmware challenges in a fast-paced environment and influence memory IP development. This role offers the opportunity to shape firmware across AMD's memory subsystems and contribute to cutting-edge SOC projects.

• Design, develop, debug, verify and/or validate firmware, software and/or hardware
• Lead day-to-day firmware development efforts
• Provide consultation to internal and external customers regarding AMD features and programming requirements

• Multiple years of related firmware experience in the semiconductor industry
• Strong experience with Memory PHY
• Expert-level firmware production
• Proficiency in C, C++, DDR, LPDDR
