Life Science Construction - Project Management Lead

Overview

In this role you join a global advisory team to lead site project delivery and help grow a business unit. You'll support the Director of Project Management in managing client relationships, securing new work, and guiding service delivery. You'll oversee project teams, nurture staff development, and manage project financials to protect margins. You'll engage with municipal and cross-functional stakeholders to drive infrastructure projects and program outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role in a collaborative, growth-focused firm delivering large-scale real estate and infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Project Management in growing revenue and managing client relationships
  • Lead bid teams and coordinate proposal generation with senior management
  • Present service offerings at client interviews and develop new business opportunities
  • Mentor and coach staff for professional growth
  • Manage project financials, margins, forecasts, and invoicing
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and support diversification of client base
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations and network for opportunities
  • Lead small PM teams on infrastructure projects and oversee neighbourhood program delivery
  • Coordinate liaison with municipal authorities and adhere to SOX controls where applicable
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in construction management, architecture, or engineering (graduate degree preferred)
  • Minimum 8 years in project management within construction
  • Experience managing client accounts and project teams
  • Relevant consulting experience and strong construction lifecycle knowledge
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong presentation, verbal, written, and organizational skills
