Overview In this role you will provide end-to-end contract and procurement advisory to major clients on large-scale construction projects. You will help develop contracting strategies, draft RFPs, evaluate proposals and manage multi-contract interfaces. You will support end-to-end procurement and deliver robust contract documents in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is a global, client-focused opportunity within Turner & Townsend's contracts and procurement practice, contributing to major capital programs.
Responsibilities- Advise clients on large-scale construction contracts and procurement
- Develop contracting strategies for major projects and delivery models
- Draft RFPs, evaluate scorecards and contracts; support vendor procurement
- Design contract structures for main delivery strategies and multi-packaging scenarios
- Support end-to-end procurement on construction projects
- Build and maintain relationships with project teams, clients and advisors
- Manage contract trackers, review SOWs/MPAs and proposal documentation
- Support delivery of business targets and client-facing services
- Adhere to SOX controls where applicable
Key requirements- Experience across multiple contract environments and procurement routes
- Degree or equivalent in construction or related field
- Independent, proactive and able to work autonomously
- Strong collaboration and team engagement
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 5+ years in construction or contract services for major capital projects
- Experience with various contract forms and multi-contracted environments
- Desirable: GMP/Lump Sum project experience; healthcare, real estate, retrofits sectors
- Ability to identify and quantify risk, and develop contracting strategies
