Overview As a member of Bloomberg's Global Antitrust and Competition Team in New York, you advise on broad competition-law issues across the company's businesses. You will monitor regulatory developments, assess global antitrust risks, and coordinate with internal and external counsel to mitigate risk. The role includes contributing to compliance efforts, training, and building awareness of antitrust guidelines across teams. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners to shape how Bloomberg navigates competition law in dynamic markets. Responsibilities- Develop a global understanding of antitrust/competition risks and relevant US/UK/EU regimes.
- Monitor regulatory and enforcement developments affecting antitrust risks.
- Identify issues and coordinate with internal/external counsel to mitigate risks across global businesses.
- Assist with inquiries and consultations from competition law agencies.
- Support compliance efforts including training and document monitoring per antitrust guidelines.
- Develop and lead training and awareness initiatives, both live and digital.
- Identify and implement enhancements to ongoing compliance efforts and control improvements.
Key requirements- Minimum of two years of antitrust/competition law practice at a top firm (or equivalent).
- Solid working knowledge of US and UK/EU competition regimes.
- Strong interest in expanding antitrust law expertise.
- Proven analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
