Overview

As Senior Project Manager - Healthcare Construction at JLL, you will oversee complex healthcare construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to high quality. You will lead multiple projects including new builds, renovations, and expansions, managing schedules, budgets, and risk while coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors. You will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards through site visits and inspections. Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple healthcare construction projects simultaneously (new builds, renovations, expansions)
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans; coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement, including contractor selection and contract negotiation
  • Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards
  • Conduct weekly site visits and inspections; provide weekly field reports
  • Prepare and present weekly project status reports to client and senior management
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members; stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in project management focused on healthcare construction
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Understanding of healthcare facility operations and compliance requirements
