Overview

In this role you will lead complex construction projects from concept to completion, owning scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating cross-functional teams. You'll ensure safety, quality, and technical excellence are integrated into every phase, directly supporting Micron's ability to grow and operate at scale. You will work with engineering, operations, and vendors to deliver world-class facilities that enable manufacturing and innovation. Responsibilities
  • Lead construction projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, resources, and vendor performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; proactively identify and resolve hazards
  • Develop and manage project financials including estimates, forecasts, cash flow, and cost controls
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules; remove roadblocks and coordinate across functions
  • Lead design reviews, competitive bidding, contract execution, and project programming and development
Key requirements
  • 5+ years as a primary project manager for highly technical construction projects
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing vendors, contracts, and budgets
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field; or relevant certification/licensing
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and structured decision-making abilities
  • Preferred: PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Preferred: experience in semiconductor or complex industrial construction environments
  • Preferred: background in business process improvement or risk/failure mode analysis
