Overview In this role you will lead on-site construction activities for commercial, municipal, and institutional projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards. You will work closely with owners, architects, and subcontractors to coordinate multi-trade teams on both new-builds and renovations. The position emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving to keep projects on track. This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on safety, timelines, and project outcomes.
Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Provide on-site leadership and supervision of field construction activities, including subcontractors and craft personnel
- Enforce safety programs and OSHA standards; conduct daily safety briefings and ensure a safe work environment
- Develop, maintain, and drive the project schedule; coordinate daily and weekly work plans to meet milestones and critical path items
- Oversee quality control and ensure construction meets contract documents, specifications, and best practices
Key requirements- 3+ years as Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role delivering commercial, K-12, Churches, or Government projects
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents; strong construction math and layout skills
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors, staging and logistics for ground-up and renovation projects
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient with construction software and tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office or equivalent); familiarity with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera) a plus
