Overview

In this role you will oversee day-to-day operations of a stabilized apartment community, leading the on-site team to meet budgeted financial and operational goals while complying with housing and safety regulations. You will collaborate with owners, manage marketing and leasing strategies, and ensure resident satisfaction and property standards. This position offers hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment with a focus on maximizing occupancy and revenue. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain property performance and owner relations, within a well-supported corporate framework.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in budget development and analyze financial statements to set performance targets
  • Meet revenue goals by setting rent, collecting payments, and preparing monthly financial reports
  • Authorize vendor invoices, ensure insurance validity, and coordinate with accounting and owners
  • Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash
  • Oversee lease enforcement including applications, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collection
  • Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy targets
  • Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly
  • Ensure maintenance team complies with company standards and completes service requests
  • Conduct property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal
  • Supervise staff through hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  • Engage with owners through property tours and performance updates
Key requirements
  • 4-6 years in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service with multi-family experience
  • Experience managing 400+ units preferred
  • Proficiency with Yardi, Entrata, and/or OneSite
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
