Overview

In this role you will lead and mentor a team delivering analytics solutions and actionable insights for external publisher clients, with a focus on our beverage and emerging business units. You'll build innovative analytic products, identify data-driven opportunities, and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The position blends client-facing consultancy with hands-on analytics, contributing to Ibotta's mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. Located in Denver with a hybrid schedule, this role offers meaningful impact across cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver large, complex analytics projects with high quality and transparent milestones
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to external clients and internal teams; tailor storytelling to diverse audiences
  • Partner with high-value client account teams and senior leadership to optimize platform success
  • Mentor and upskill junior team members; promote learning through trainings and teach-outs
  • Adopt emerging analytics capabilities and drive adoption across the organization
  • Engage in cross-functional analytics initiatives and act as trusted analytics partner
Key requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in an analytical function
  • Bachelor in Analytics, Statistics, Economics or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with modern data analysis and pipeline tools (Databricks, SQL, Python, Git/GitHub)
  • Experience with modern BI tools (Looker, Tableau)
  • Strong client-facing consulting background; ability to present to senior executives
  • Extensive analytics domain experience in the CPG space and/or client/supplier/agency side
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills
  • Independent, self-starter with time-management and multitasking abilities
