Human Resource Generalist

In this role you will support a manufacturing team by handling employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and EHS tracking. You will assist in training and development, including monitoring the corporate training budget, and ensure timely, accurate reporting. You will spend time on the production floor to coach, resolve conflicts, and promote engagement while maintaining compliant processes. This position offers hands-on impact across HR operations and safety programs within a collaborative environment.

• Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations issues and vendor communication; generate ideas for engagement activities
• Manage disability processes (Workers' Compensation, Short Term Disability, FMLA) with third-party administrators, ensuring ADA and HIPAA compliance
• Participate in safety activities including job safety analyses, root cause investigation, and safety audits
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate various training programs
• Coordinate recruiting for hourly and salaried roles; conduct on-boarding and new hire orientation
• Coordinate employee relations activities and factors affecting morale
• Compile and analyze monthly and annual statistics; prepare and distribute reports
• Recruit for hourly positions using behavioral interviewing techniques and mandated selection tools
• Assist with benefits open enrollment administration
• Work with compensation to review positions and determine need for job descriptions or salary grade changes; process pay adjustments
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
• 2+ years HR/employee relations experience and OSHA knowledge
• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
