Overview As an Aviation Project Manager at HDR, you steer multi-discipline airport projects from design through construction, aligning scope, budget, and schedule with client goals. You lead design teams, mentor staff, and ensure quality across deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships. Your work helps modernize airports and advance safe, efficient, and sustainable mobility. Responsibilities- Lead multi-discipline airport projects (airside and landside) across design and construction phases
- Direct design teams, review deliverables, and mentor staff
- Manage staff development, project production, quality control, and financing
- Support marketing, proposals, and client presentations; build client relationships
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, and construction services for active projects
- Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct personnel training
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and liaison with clients, contractors, and design teams
- Lead HDR Health and Safety program on projects; ensure construction safety
- Instruct and guide junior staff on career development
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in related field; 7+ years related experience; 2+ years PM experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to interact with design teams
- Strong leadership and staff development abilities; active participant in employee-owned culture
- P.E. license preferred; ENV SP and FAA knowledge preferred; multi-disciplinary team leadership
- Experience with airside and landside aviation projects; PM/CM experience as Owner's representative
- Local candidate preferred; familiarity with industry standards
