Overview In this role you drive consumer experience research for assigned brands, shaping insights to guide product and packaging decisions from ideation to launch. You will design fit-for-purpose studies, synthesize findings into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Insights, and external partners to translate learning into practical product improvements. You'll lead multiple CX projects with disciplined planning, documentation, and governance, delivering decision-ready outcomes that de-risk development and support strategic growth.

Responsibilities- Provide CX leadership for the portfolio and projects
- Lead day-to-day CX learning plan execution aligned to high-value business decisions
- Ensure development stages have clear CX direction and documentation
- Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research on product and packaging experience
- Identify actionable recommendations from CX research across phases and data sources
- Translate consumer needs into clear experience targets and design criteria for development
- Deliver decision-ready recommendations that clarify risks and next steps and drive cross-functional alignment
- Manage external research suppliers including scoping, timelines, budgets, fieldwork, and deliverables
- Lead multiple projects with prioritization, discipline, and stakeholder communication
- Ensure compliance with data integrity and privacy requirements
- May mentor junior team members
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in Engineering, Food Science, Physical Science, Consumer Behavior/Psychology, Industrial Design, or Marketing with a consumer research focus
- 4+ years (BS) or 3+ years (MS) in consumer/product research or consumer experience roles supporting product development and commercialization (CPG preferred)
- Ability to translate consumer learning into actionable product/packaging direction
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research: study design, instrument development, synthesis, storytelling
- Familiarity with common research, survey/testing, and analysis platforms
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management in a matrix environment
- Strong project management: prioritization, ambiguity navigation, attention to detail, on-time delivery
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to work independently and collaboratively
- Analytical problem-solving with high attention to detail
