Overview As Collibra Architect, you will lead and own a greenfield Collibra Data Governance platform implementation. You will design foundational governance models, onboard thousands of data elements, and build automated workflows to accelerate governance adoption. You will ensure seamless data lineage and integration with upstream/downstream systems while shaping the operating model for enterprise-wide stewardship. This role is pivotal to establishing the Data Governance Office and driving scalable governance across the organization.
Responsibilities- Lead greenfield Collibra implementation aligned with governance requirements
- Design foundational Collibra structures (domains, roles, operating models)
- Onboard 1000 Critical Data Elements (CDEs)
- Develop playbooks and workflows using Groovy and Collibra workflow engine
- Automate governance processes (approvals, stewardship, exceptions)
- Configure data lineage connectors and cross-system mappings
- Define governance processes, stewardship roles, and escalation models
- Provide best practices for governance acceleration and adoption; train data owners and stewards
Key requirements- Hands-on Collibra implementation experience in enterprise environments (preferably greenfield)
- Groovy scripting, workflow design, Collibra workflow engine
- Strong data governance knowledge (frameworks, operating models, CDE definition)
- Data lineage experience (connectors, metadata mapping, system integration)
