Overview Lead Test Architect at DTCC drives the strategy and architecture of advanced test frameworks and automation. You guide the testing roadmap, mentor engineers, and Influence architecture to ensure scalable, compliant quality across enterprise systems. You will prototype new tools, integrate automation into CI/CD, and collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to deliver robust software testing at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping the future of testing at DTCC.
Responsibilities- Design and expand automated testing framework capabilities for multiple environments
- Develop end-to-end automated tests using Java, JavaScript, and Selenium to validate system functionality
- Extend automated testing to component-level tests
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to align strategies with requirements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Test Engineers
- Contribute to risk mitigation and compliance in testing processes
- Shape the automation framework and drive its evolution across the enterprise
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong Java development and test automation background
- Proficiency with Selenium and related tools (TestNG, JUnit)
- Web services testing experience (REST/SOAP, API validation)
- CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Git, Maven)
- Database testing with Snowflake and JDBC in data validation workflows
- Experience with distributed systems, AWS, and cloud-native testing strategies
- Knowledge of modern testing frameworks/tools (AngularJS, Protractor, Jasmine, JMeter, UFT/QTP)
