Overview In this role you will lead technical design for women's wovens, creating production-specific technical packs in Excel to meet brand standards. You'll drive consistency across factories, guide fit and construction through pattern direction, and participate in live-model fit sessions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve fit issues, ensuring high-quality, market-ready garments. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with a clear impact on product quality and factory alignment.
Responsibilities- Create accurate production technical packs with construction, specs and fit comments in Excel
- Ensure consistency of fit and make across multiple factories
- Provide specific pattern corrections and strong pattern making input
- Participate in fit sessions with live models and communicate fit issues
- Work with fit corrections and construction guidance
- Support garment construction knowledge and factory processes in high/mid-tier markets
Key requirements- Experience with women's apparel for better markets (Saks, Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Macy's)
- Patternmaking experience a plus
- Problem solver with ability to manage own workload under pressure
- Excellent time management and prioritization for multiple projects
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and computer skills (Excel is a must; Outlook, Word, Illustrator)
