Overview In this role you drive on-site construction administration and management of projects, ensuring adherence to drawings, specs, budget, and schedule. You'll lead scope and fee development, coordinate teams, and monitor progress on projects up to $10M while shaping project delivery with HNTB's SDA/SCA frameworks. You'll mentor staff, manage change orders, and support business development for strategic pursuits. Responsibilities- Develop project scope and fee and assist in proposals and contracts per SCA
- Coordinate project activities, set priorities, and assemble project staff
- Prepare daily summary inspection reports and monitor progress against schedule
- Resolve field issues and coordinate with Architects/Engineers for RFIs
- Oversee project controls and review contractor schedules
- Review submittals for conformance to plans and specifications; develop submittal strategies
- Implement SDA on each project and lead the project management plan
- Supervise and mentor team toward project objectives; identify non-compliant work
- Provide interpretation and enforcement of contract plans and specs; manage change orders and cost estimates
- Provide cost and quality control; support client development and pursuit efforts per SSA
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain construction staff; plan staff reporting and succession
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or relevant degree
- 8 years relevant experience, or 12 years in lieu of education
- Experience leading smaller projects or tasks and coordinating with subconsultants
- Experience with project controls, scheduling, and cost management
- Experience with SEPTA Construction Projects and Concrete Foundations is required
