Overview As an ERP-focused architect, you will design and oversee scalable, secure Oracle-based financial solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. You'll translate business needs into architectures, participate in governance boards, and drive finance transformation initiatives in a retail context. You'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure production stability, compliance (SOX), and alignment with enterprise standards. This role offers impact on large-scale financial systems and a chance to shape our technology roadmap.
Responsibilities- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical architecture and integration designs
- Lead architecture discussions in governance boards (ARB/Solution Review Board) and document tradeoffs
- Recommend upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options for ERP solutions
- Contribute to enterprise architectural standards and reusable design patterns
- Review financial processes and translate into architecture recommendations
- Lead business analysis, integration design, and security/change management activities
- Develop and maintain technical specifications and system documentation
- Support production stability, issue resolution, and optimization
- Explore and lead proofs of concept and innovation initiatives
- Collaborate with project teams to document requirements and propose solutions
Key requirements- 8+ years in ERP solutions, enterprise applications, solution architecture, or major systems implementation
- 5+ years supporting Oracle Financial Systems (preferred)
- Experience designing/integrating solutions in cloud, hybrid cloud, and enterprise environments
- Direct experience with Oracle Cloud Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management)
- Implementation experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud Financials (at least two full life cycles)
- Exposure to finance transformation programs, SOX compliance, audit controls, and governance frameworks
