Overview In this Buyer/Planner role, you will steward the end-to-end material flow for Anduril's Autonomous Underwater Vehicle program. You will forecast demand, plan inventory, and manage purchasing to keep internal assembly lines and customers supplied on time. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply issues and inform strategic sourcing decisions. Your work will support cost efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery across a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. Responsibilities- Plan on-time delivery of raw materials to internal assembly lines and finished goods to customers
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts and plans
- Manage day-to-day ordering and inventory for assigned product lines
- Identify and resolve supply issues with cross-functional teams
- Generate and analyze data to identify trends for decision-making
- Maintain processes within MRP and master data
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and make/buy decisions
- Issue purchase orders for production and R&D and manage supplier relationships
- Participate in S&OP processes and related strategic initiatives
- Develop data reporting structures to monitor Demand Planning KPIs
- Understand product BOM for quick decision-making and opportunity discussion
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for cost savings, quality, and on-time delivery
Key requirements- 3+ years of technical procurement experience in manufacturing
- Excellent documentation and communication, including negotiation and relationship management
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams across functions/borders
- Strong understanding of design specifications
- Problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and judgment skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience owning a value chain end-to-end coordinating internal and external parties
- Prior knowledge of Oracle or a similar ERP system
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance
