Overview You will own the end-to-end architecture for enterprise UKG Pro WFM, guiding design, integration, and implementation to stabilize workforce management across the organization. As the technical authority for WFM, you will set standards, resolve cross-system design challenges, and represent WFM architecture in enterprise technology decisions. This role sits at the intersection of HR, Payroll, and IT, shaping scalable, compliant WFM solutions that enable data-driven workforce insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, large-scale WFM programs.

Responsibilities- Own end-to-end architecture and technical delivery for UKG Pro WFM modules (Time and Attendance, Advanced Scheduling, Accruals/Leave Management, Attestation, Analytics/Reporting, and Datahub)
- Translate business requirements into scalable WFM solutions; define architecture standards, design patterns, and governance for the WFM stack
- Manage environment strategy across DEV/TEST/PROD including release, patch management, upgrade testing, and sandbox validation
- Architect integrations between UKG Pro WFM, HRIS (e.g., Oracle HCM), Datahub, Payroll, and analytics systems using APIs, middleware, and secure file transfer
- Define data governance for WFM data including source-of-truth ownership, data quality controls, and reporting data models
- Provide technical leadership across discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare for WFM programs
- Support payroll workflows, labor compliance, workforce policies, and enterprise data governance
- Troubleshoot complex integration defects and WFM issues, driving root-cause resolution with offshore delivery teams
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, Digital, and external vendors on enterprise WFM initiatives; communicate architecture decisions to executives
- Mentor delivery teams and establish architecture standards, review processes, and governance across the WFM landscape
Key requirements- 10+ years IT experience with three years as a Technical/Infrastructure/Systems Architect
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM and/or UKG Dimensions
- Experience leading architecture decisions across multiple programs (not single-implementation)
- Strong understanding of workforce management processes, payroll flows, and labor compliance
- Hands-on experience with UKG modules: Time and Attendance, Datahub, Scheduling, Accruals/Leave Management, Attestation, Analytics/Reporting
- Experience with integrations using Dell Boomi, APIs, middleware, and SFTP data exchange
- Large enterprise workforce environment experience (10,000+ employees) preferred
