Overview In this role you will provide actionable legal guidance to HCSC's legal team and internal partners on pharmacy programs, PBM operations, and healthcare regulatory matters. You'll partner with business leaders to shape compliant strategies that support growth and broader access to affordable care. You'll handle complex issues, support regulatory affairs, and represent the company in relevant proceedings and negotiations. This position offers hybrid work and opportunities to influence policy, compliance, and risk management across multiple states.

Responsibilities- Provide legal advice and coordination on complex matters related to pharmacy benefit programs, insurance policies, and health care law
- Support regulatory, contract, and business matters with legal review and research
- Represent the company in litigation, administrative proceedings, and dealings with regulatory bodies
- Advise less experienced attorneys and stay current on relevant laws and trends
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across pharmacy operations and programs to enable compliant growth
Key requirements- Juris Doctor degree and active law license in the state of location
- 8 years of attorney experience with healthcare or insurance exposure
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication
