Responsibilities- Generate new business while managing and renewing existing client accounts
- Meet with clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend customized coverage solutions
- Present insurance proposals clearly and professionally
- Close new business and collect all required applications and documentation
- Partner with the service team to ensure a seamless client experience after the sale
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, community involvement, and industry events
- Build strong relationships with insurance carrier partners and local centers of influence
- Stay current on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation following agency procedures
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly new business goals
- Represent the agency professionally within the community and with carrier partners
Key requirements- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Previous insurance sales or consultative sales experience preferred
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings, networking events, and community involvement
- Valid driver's license
- Strong sales, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a pipeline
- Organized with exceptional attention to detail
