Manager, HR Technology - HRIS Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the design, integration and evolution of Welltower's people systems, aligning HR data and analytics with business planning. You will partner with HR, Finance, and leadership to enable reliable reporting and data-driven decisions. You will own the HC technology ecosystem, drive system adoption, and ensure governance and data integrity across platforms. This position offers a opportunity to shape workforce planning and analytics at scale within a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day operations, compliance, reporting, and functionality of the HC technology ecosystem (e.g., UKG, UTM, Anaplan, Workvivo, Payfactors, Perceptyx).
  • Lead HC ownership of shared systems (JIRA, Concur, Fidelity) as primary system owner.
  • Define data flows, system architecture, and boundaries for HC tech stack.
  • Collaborate with IT and Software Engineering to design and maintain integrations aligned with technology strategy.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, including filings, reports, and audits related to data management.
  • Act as primary owner of workforce planning models, tools, and integrations; ensure data governance across systems.
  • Monitor integration health and resolve data discrepancies; design scalable workflows across employee lifecycle.
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and enhance system capabilities.
  • Enable accurate reporting through accessible and structured data; drive system implementations and enhancements.
  • Promote adoption of systems, reporting tools, and workforce planning processes.
Key requirements
  • 6-10 years in Human Capital systems, workforce planning or people analytics.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., UKG, Workday, ICIMS).
  • Experience with workforce planning tools and headcount forecasting systems.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations and data governance, with analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's and relevant certifications strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing vendors, RFPs, and implementations.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills; ability to translate data into insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and proactive.
