Overview As Water/Wastewater Project Manager within the CIP PMST, you will directly manage water infrastructure projects for the City of Atlanta area, collaborating with client PMs and DWM contractors. You steer planning, design, and construction phases to meet cost, quality and schedule targets, while ensuring contract compliance and risk control. You will mentor junior staff and provide insights to improve project delivery. This role offers hands-on impact across major CIP programs in a globally leading infrastructure firm.

Responsibilities- Plan and monitor design phase progress with design consultants to PIR targets
- Coordinate procurement for design-phase services
- Manage construction phase progress with CC/DBC, enforce contract terms and drive recovery from delays
- Review RFIs, submittals, RFS/RFD, field orders and pay requests for timely handling
- Produce monthly status reports and communicate with PMST leadership and program controls
- Mentor junior project management staff on contracts and best practices
- Provide feedback for lessons learned to PMST misconceptions and improvements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business or related field
- 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects (civil engineering/construction)
- Proven ability to manage design consultants and construction contractors
- PE or PMP certification (preferred)
- Experience with risk management, contracting, and insurances (preferred)
- Ability to manage multi-phase projects (design to construction)
