Responsibilities- Lead creation and management of detailed, resource-loaded schedules for multiple construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to develop schedules with milestones and critical paths
- Establish baseline schedules and monitor progress against KPIs
- Ensure effective scheduling coordination across design, engineering, procurement, and construction
- Monitor schedule performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions
- Prepare and present regular schedule updates to leadership, clients, and stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate scheduling risks and develop delay mitigation strategies
- Mentor and develop a scheduling team, fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment
- Establish best practices and standardized scheduling processes across projects
- Keep scheduling methods current with industry trends and technology
- Serve as primary contact for scheduling issues and facilitate stakeholder meetings
- Align scheduling with project budgets and resource availability with finance teams
- Track resource utilization and recommend adjustments to optimize timelines
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or construction-related field
- 12+ years of scheduling experience
- 2+ years managing scheduling/project controls teams in a consulting environment
- Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling software
- PMP, CCM, or equivalent certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, lifecycles, and industry standards
- Proven track record managing scheduling on large-scale construction projects and programs
- Ability to manage complex schedules, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
