Overview In this role you support manufacturing operations for diagnostic reagents, focusing on cervical cancer and microbiological infection assays. You work with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and optimize experiments, ensuring compliant documentation and problem resolution. You contribute to continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment and help translate scientific insights into reliable processes. This position offers hands-on lab work with opportunities to impact product quality and process efficiency.
Responsibilities- Perform a broad range of lab techniques including microbiology, aseptic methods, spectrophotometry, and reagent formulation
- Design and execute experiments; collect and analyze data to demonstrate feasibility for changes
- Troubleshoot quality and process issues in manufacturing or QC labs and coordinate with teams to resolve them
- Author protocols, reports, and SOPs; manage review and approval cycles with feedback
- Execute protocols per procedures and report data adhering to GDP principles
- Conduct literature reviews and collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to propose action plans
- Provide technical information and training to production or lab staff to ensure consistent task execution
- Demonstrate agility and self-motivation; prioritize and align with project teams
- Plan and execute projects of moderate complexity with minimal supervision
Key requirements- B.S. in Sciences
- Minimum 4 years of lab, manufacturing, or quality experience in Life Sciences or related industries
- Experience in GMP-regulated environments (FDA) or ISO 13485 is desirable
